Swiss health premiums 2026
The Swiss insurance that costs you least.
In thirty seconds.
Four questions — where you live, when you were born, what you spend on health care and whether you are employed — and Insurek compares every insurer, model and deductible in your area, using the official figures from the Federal Office of Public Health.
In plain words
- You say where you live, when you were born, how often you see a doctor and whether you are employed.
- Insurek tells you which health insurer and which deductible cost you least.
- It is free, it does not ask for your name and it stores nothing.
Four questions
Where, born when, how often the doctor, employed or not.

Premiums depend on the canton and the premium region. Your postcode gives both — you do not need to know your region.
If you know your own figure, write it in: then that is what counts.
It is worth about 31 francs a month, close to 400 a year: not a detail. If you are employed, the accident insurance act has your employer cover you — so your health insurer does not have to.
More settings
The alternative models cost less but require you to go to one place first: your family doctor, an HMO centre, a phone line. The benefits themselves are identical.
The rule
Why almost only two deductibles ever matter
Three numbers, nothing else
You pay twelve premiums. You pay everything yourself up to the deductible. Above it you pay 10%, but never more than 700 francs a year. The total cost of a year is the sum of those three things — there is nothing else to it.
The middle loses
Between 300 and 2,500 there are four more deductibles. Do the arithmetic and almost none of them ever wins: their cost curve stays above one of the two extremes at every level of spending. That is why Insurek was built — and the chart shows it.
And then there is the insurer
The right deductible is half the money. The other half is that for benefits the law makes identical, the gap between the dearest and the cheapest insurer in your area can be over a thousand francs a year. Insurek works out both at once.
